We are no longer serving Brunch on Sunday. Instead, we are now open on Sunday from 11-6 and our Eatables Menu is available all day. Take a look at the Eatables page for the full menu!
After 13 years, it’s time for change. We opened our business in 2010, serving a 5-course brunch first once a month, which very quickly
turned into every Sunday for 13 years. Then came the winery and our wines which are now distributed in over 51 retail stores, as well as
NH Liquor Stores.
We have seen changes in customers and staff, many of you which we consider friends. Our friends have seen us through year after
year, visiting our Winery and Restaurant. We have listened to your stories, met your families, and you’ve listened to Marshall tell all
sorts of stories. We have watched our customers family’s grow, and ours has grown as well, with our first great grandchild being
born in 2023. Can you believe we are great grandparents?!?!
Marshall has had challenges since his fall from the barn roof, however, that never keeps him down and he’s as active as ever and
he continues to try and chase Sunny around! We survived Covid, thanks to our loyal customers and staff, and we continue to thrive
in this crazy economy.
Having said that, we have recognized that it is time for a change. Food costs are higher, and as with most industries, staffing is hard
to find. We also simply want to slow down just a bit so we can enjoy our property, our lives, and our family.
The question is, how do we do that and keep our friends and family in our lives? The best way we can figure out how do that is to
eliminate Brunch and focus on the Wine and other food offerings. [gasp]
We know, we know, you all love Brunch, so we have decided to keep some parts of it and eliminate others. We will be changing
by eliminating the 5-course brunch and adding a brunch Charcuterie. It will include some of the things you love such as our fruit
and special dip, the fried dough, and maple bacon made with local maple syrup and adding waffles. There will be plenty of unlimited
cups of coffee and tea, with orange juice available and our famous mimosas.
One difference that this will make is that we can start wine tasting earlier on Sundays. You can wine taste as soon as we open and
pair it with our brunch charcuterie if you choose. Those that do not want brunch related items can wine taste with our Eatables menu
that we serve all day on Friday and Saturday. Also, we are thinking you probably won’t have to make a reservation, which was
previously required for brunch. You can simply stop by, slow down, relax and enjoy yourself. The other important difference this will
make is that we can slow down and have more time to visit with you, the customer, as well as working a wee bit slower so we have the
energy for our ourselves and our family.
We plan on serving our last brunch on October 29, 2023, and begin our brunch charcuterie the following weekend. We also will
consider doing our brunch for large parties of 15 or more to celebrate things like bridal showers, baby showers, reunions, etc…,
depending on the date and situation.
Our hours will change on Sunday and beginning November 5, the new hours for Sunday will be 11-6.
We hope you will support us in this endeavor. You all have become our family, and we are looking forward to your continued
presence to keep our business going strong and share our our lives with you.
Marshall and Sunny
